Big Sky Montana Real Estate:  It is not easy to finding a rental in the Big Sky area these days.  Doing an extensive search for properties in the area, I was only able to find 3 condos available for rent at the start of the Ski Season.  What I found were 3 bedroom 2.5 bath 1300 square foot condo in the Meadow Village with a rent of $1700 a month.  The other two units were $1900 and $2200 a month.  Click here to see if they are still available.

When looking at rental prices starting at +/- $600 per bedroom it starts to look like it might be a better bet to buy instead of rent.  At 4.5% interest on a 30 year loan, monthly payments on $100,000 would be $506.69, $200,000 monthly payments would be $1013.37.  Of course there are taxes, insurance, and HOA dues on top of this, but there sure are more properties for sale right now than available for rent.
